Role Summary

MetaPhase is seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer to join our team to support a federal customer’s enterprise ServiceNow implementation.  The developer will be part of a team building cutting edge, functional applications; as well as implementing ServiceNow enterprise modules. The right candidate will design and build applications focusing on the importance of usability, user experience (UX), test-driven development, and design within their applications. You will work as part of an Agile DevSecOps team and work closely with the Product Owner, Scrum Master, Business Analysts, Security Engineers, and other developers and architects to support the rapid implementation of mission-critical business needs. 

What You Will Be Doing

  • Custom Application Development: Build custom applications on the ServiceNow platform tailored to specific organizational needs.
  • Operations and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform, including upgrades and enhancement of existing ServiceNow application configurations, and identification and resolution of application defects
  • Automation and Orchestration: Develop workflows, scripts, and integrations to automate routine tasks, streamline processes, and enhance the platform's overall efficiency.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Providing expert-level troubleshooting for complex ServiceNow issues, ensuring minimal downtime and rapid resolution.
  • Champion ServiceNow development best practices. Thoroughly document implementations, configurations, and processes for easy knowledge transfer and maintenance.
  • Guide and mentor junior team members, fostering knowledge sharing and professional development.
  • Provide application support for the configuration of platform capabilities to include Knowledge Management, Service Request Management, CMDB, and Service Portal.
  • Generate workflows and integrations with the latest ServiceNow technologies
  • Work as part of an agile scrum team, supporting story point estimation, managing stories through their lifecycle, and actively participating in agile ceremonies.
  • Handle multiple tasks by prioritizing based on client need and ensuring quality standards and work performance.
  • Works as part of a team on client engagements.
  • Quickly adapt to dynamic customer environments and adjust processes to foster innovation.

What We Need From You (Required) 

  • 5+ years of overall industry experience including developing in low-code platforms
  • 5+ years of work experience specific to ServiceNow application configuration and development
  • Extensive knowledge in ITIL and ITSM processes
  • Proven ability in problem-solving, process improvement, and change management
  • Strong interpersonal and team orientation skills in working with various levels of technical and business-oriented individuals
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator and Certified Implementation Specialist ("CSI") Certification

Ability to obtain Public Trust Required; U.S. Citizenship required (NO EXCEPTIONS) Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $110K-$140k.
