ServiceNow Developer
REMOTE WORKER
We are seeking a talented and motivated ServiceNow Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and configuring the ServiceNow platform to enhance its functionality within our client’s organization. As a member of an agile team, you will deliver iterative improvements and collaborate with application teams to design and implement data interfaces with other enterprise systems.
You will create and configure Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts, and ACLs, including scripting for each. Additionally, you will assist in designing and updating Service Portal front-end components and performing production deployment tasks in preparation for releases.
Please note, this role offers a flexible work arrangement, primarily remote with the understanding that occasional on-site presence may be required to support client needs.
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in IT development.
- Experience in development using the ServiceNow platform.
- TAM-HAM / ITAM-SAM and CMDB experience
- Knowledge of client and server scripting, ServiceNow REST APIs, and widget development.
- Experience with Agile methodologies for software development.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interact with all levels of management.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to high quality.
- Ability to manage workload for multiple work-streams and report back to its lead/supervisor.
- Experience with Jira and/or Confluence.
- Capability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Experience configuring core ServiceNow modules like but not limited to Service Catalog, Asset, SAMP, IRM, Discovery, Service Mapping.
- Knowledge of the ServiceNow app engine and the process for developing and supporting custom applications.
- Experience with Advanced scripting, Performance Analytics, Reporting, and other use case areas are highly desirable.
- Experience with Flow Designer, Workspaces, and UI Designer desirable.
- Ability to draft and document test plans for both a technical and business user audience.
- Ability to be flexible, adaptable, and learn new concepts quickly.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment with aggressive deadlines and multiple priorities as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision while delivering results.
- Excellent demonstrable written and verbal communications skills.
- Demonstrates a high degree of customer service and teamwork.
- Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of ITIL processes, operations, and procedures.
- Overarching understanding of ServiceNow Enterprise product suite.
