Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented ServiceNow Application Developer, II to join our dynamic team supporting DCSA. In this role, your knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript will be put to the test as you collaborate with your team to make our customer’s requirements become reality.

As a ServiceNow Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions that meet the needs of our organization. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective and efficient ServiceNow applications.

Note: Preference will be given to candidates in the NCR that can commute to Hanover, MD and be on-site 2 days a week.

Specifically, you will have the opportunity to:

• Design, develop, and implement custom applications and modules within the ServiceNow platform

• Customize ServiceNow applications and facilitate the rollout of new applications and modules

• Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure that ServiceNow solutions align with business needs

• Provide technical expertise and support during the implementation and maintenance of ServiceNow applications

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer or in a similar role

• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform capabilities and architecture

• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies

• Experience with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, or CSM

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification is preferred

• Active Secret-level clearance

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Experience with Agile development methodologies, as many ServiceNow projects follow Agile practices.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Range: 

$96,400.00 - $168,700.00
