ServiceNow Business Analyst (Remote)

The Digital Modernization division of ICF is seeking a motivated ServiceNow Business Analyst with experience identifying, analyzing, and managing business and technical requirements for federal government projects. The successful candidate will possess an understanding of driving tasks to completion, be self-motivated, and have experience in multiple technologies (ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence).

What you’ll be doing:

• Work with government stakeholders, plan, manage, document, and analyze functional and testing requirements, identify gaps, and identify alternative approaches to meet requirements.

• Assist in analyzing and documenting clients’ business requirements and processes; communicate these requirements to technical and non-technical personnel by constructing basic conceptual data and process models.

• Assist with the management of requirements and collaboration sessions using tools like ServiceNow, JIRA, and Confluence

• Assist in the research and assessment of business goals, objectives, and needs to align information technology solutions with business initiatives

• Communicate effectively with a wide variety of technical and non-technical audiences. 

• Elicit requirements using requirements sessions, document analysis, surveys, interviews, business process descriptions, use cases, business analysis, etc.

• Write a variety of technical articles, reports, process guides, and knowledge articles with input from subject matter experts.

• Use diagramming tools to create mockups, and workflows to elicit requirements

What you must have:

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution

• 3+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst in a fast-paced client-faced solution delivery environment. 

• 3+ years of recent experience working in an Agile development environment as a business analyst (i.e., Scrum, Kanban, etc.) 

• 3+ years of experience facilitating requirements gathering, Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions, and capturing client requirements and feedback.

• 2+ years of hands-on experience working with projects on the ServiceNow Platform

• 3+ years of experience with Technology Platforms such as Jira, Confluence

• US Citizenship or green card is required due to federal contract requirements.

• Must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance. 

Desired Skills: 

• Good understanding of basic system technologies as they relate to the project deliverables. 

• Experience with business process mapping and the use of project management software 

• Excellent oral and written communication skills 

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills

• Excellent attention to detail

• Experience in conducting user acceptance testing.

• Ability to work independently and within one or more teams with excellent time management, organizational, and reporting skills.

• Skilled at analyzing existing system documentation to summarize existing system functionality as it relates to the project at hand. 

• Experience thriving in ambiguous solution-delivery environments. 

• Ability to work well under constantly changing deadlines and priorities.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$67,020.00 - $113,934.00
