What You'll Do

We are looking for a Service Technician to join our Amarillo, TX team!

This position focuses on ensuring our chemical feed equipment is properly working and our products are transferred in a safe manner

  • Maintain a safe, injury-free environment through active team participation and promptly addressing any identified safety deficiencies.
  • The primary resource who performs routine testing and monitoring at the customer site including data entry as needed.
  • Interfaces with the customer to understand any issues with chemicals or equipment and reports feedback to account manager or support engineer.
  • Manages product inventory at the customer including deliveries to process units and offloading to customer tanks, including inventory audits, recording inventories and ordering materials.
  • Adjusts chemical feed levels to meet optimal chemical performance based on routine testing and monitoring based on input from account manager or support engineer.
  • Alerts the site manager or support engineer of any problems or opportunities with the customer and begins to troubleshoot issues.
  • Conducts expanded testing of process variables to identify dosage improvements or mechanical impacts based on input from account manager or support engineer.
  • Specs out, sets up, maintains and troubleshoots monitoring and feed equipment.
  • Works with the site team and customers to ensure optimal program performance.

What You'll Bring

  • Ability to work in an industrial environment: exposure to heat/cold, industrial noise, etc.
  • Previous experience in the water treatment industry 
  • Repairing small pumps (diaphragm, gear pump, progressive cavity, piston and centrifugal)
  • Plumbing – running plastic piping and tubing or threaded metal fittings
  • Working with PLCs
  • Good interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong troubleshooting skills · Strong work ethic
  • Extremely high safety awareness- Ability to complete safety training, follow safety policies and work in a safety-oriented manner.
  • Eligibility to work within the US
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing
  • Strong team working skills to meet customer expectations and troubleshoot difficult technical issues
