POSITION SUMMARY:Our Redmond-based client is looking for a Service Engineer for a remote based position in the USA.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, test, and maintain business and computer applications software or specialized utility programs including mainframe and client/server applications, and major enhancement of existing systemsFine-tune and improve a variety of sophisticated process / service design projects
- Gather and analyze system requirements, document specifications, and develop people/process focused solutions to meet client needs and data
- Analyze and review enhancement requests and specifications
- Implement system software and customize to client requirements
- Prepare the process specifications and test flow plans
- Modify existing programs to new standards and conduct unit testing of developed processes
- Assist with quality assurance review definitions
- Assist with post-implementation quality assurance validation of in-production processes and services.
Qualifications
- Must have minimum 10 years’ experience with computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Must have minimum 10 years’ experience with large systems process design and development.
- Must have minimum 10 years’ experience with in-depth troubleshooting and unit testing with both new and legacy production system. Experience in programming and experience with problem diagnosis and resolution.
- Should have bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field
- Certifications or Experience with one or more of the following methodologies would be considered an asset:
- Rummler-Brache,
- CMMI,
- Lean/Agile
- Lean/Six Sigma
- Scaled Agile (SAFe) methodologies
- ECBA – Entry Cert in Business Analysis / CCBA Capability Cert in Business Analysis / CBAP – Certified Business Analysis Professional
- AAC – Agile Analysis Cert

- A competitive pay range of $80/hr- $85/hr (depending on experience).
- Location: Remote (USA)
- 15 days per year of Paid Time Off (PTO).
- 8 paid holidays + 1 personal floating holiday
