Role

We are looking for an ambitious, hard-working and positive SEO Manager to join our team. 

Reporting directly to the CEO, the chosen candidate will be responsible for executing an SEO strategy across our portfolio of websites. 

As a growing company, the responsibilities will be varied, and this role will be right for you if you can work at a strategic level in SEO and aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves and get stuck into the day-to-day execution. 

The role will heavily involve the execution of our SEO content strategy, including optimisation of key pages, managing a team of freelance writers, continuous testing of different content techniques, updating content to push rankings to the top 3 positions and more.

As the company expands, you will have the opportunity to grow the function with real scope for career progression.

Key Accountabilities

• Lead, develop and implement SEO strategies that enhance website visibility and drive organic traffic
• Conduct ongoing competitor and market analysis to keep the SEO strategy consistently at the forefront
• Perform keyword research to uncover new content opportunities
• Analyse and pinpoint gaps that might be hindering organic growth
• Regularly review written content to ensure that key SEO practices are implemented throughout all aspects of each article
• Continuous testing, tweaking and updating of content until it reaches top positions
• Update, maintain and optimise website content for SEO best practices
• Analyse and report on website data to measure the effectiveness of SEO strategies and suggest improvements
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO content trends and best techniques

Requirements

Essential:

• Over 4 years of experience in SEO, demonstrating a successful history of driving positive organic growth
• Strong knowledge of SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Surfer SEO, Google Search Console and Google Analytics
• Analytical and inquisitive mindset, skilled at diving into data to uncover trends and growth opportunities, with a strong background in testing
• Be extremely detail-oriented, almost to a perfectionist level

Desirable:

• Experience in iGaming or similar competitive industries
• Experience working for media publications with a focus on affiliate marketing

• £35,000 - £45,000 per annum depending on experience
