We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Windows Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our client's mission critical network infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on Windows equipment and technology. Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain mission critical, high availability network infrastructure, focusing on Windows equipment and technology.
- VMWare system migrations, disk configurations, and VSphere administration tasks.
- Conduct thorough performance analysis and optimization of the network infrastructure, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Troubleshoot complex network problems, identifying root causes and resolving issues promptly.
- Collaborate with other members of the IT team to ensure seamless integration of network services with other systems.
- Monitor network performance, analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Keep up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in network engineering, evaluating their potential impact on our infrastructure and making recommendations for improvements.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in network engineering, with a strong focus on Windows equipment and technology.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field (master's degree preferred). Or related experience in lieu of degree
- Deployment and management of virtual server systems within a VMWare environment.
- VMWare resource monitoring, alarm and notification troubleshooting
- .Management of Microsoft Windows patching with Windows Server Update Services
- Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve complex technical issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across different teams and stakeholders.
Our estimated salary range for this position is $120,000-$150,000. This presented salary range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Offered salary is based on education, experience, geographic location, and possibly contractual requirements as appropriate to the role. *Salary could fall outside of this range.
