Job Description: 

The Senior Vendor Management Inventory Specialist role will play an integral role in the planning, forecasting and replenishment of Key Accounts such as Costco and other large B2C customer accounts. This role will be responsible for managing and replenishing the inventory at the customer distribution centers in support of designated accounts. This role will also be challenged to continuously improve the replenishment, order writing, forecasting process and results to enable the company to achieve its customer service commitments and improve its efficiency. The Senior Vendor Management Inventory Specialist must be able to collaborate with our customers and interpret information from many sources (POS, order history, customer forecasts, etc.) This role is a remote based opportunity. 

Responsibilities: 

•    Ensure we provide world-class service to our customers through the development and maintenance of order fulfillment.
•    Interface with customers, buyers and replenishment managers as well as Nestle Health Science Sales, Inventory & Distribution Team to enforce policies, resolve issues, and align service and financial strategies.
•    Work collaboratively with customers to optimize finished goods inventories against their service goals.
•    Manage product transitions, while working closely with Customers to ensure flawless execution to minimize slow moving product by efficient phasing in/out of SKU's.
•    Ensure communication of replenishment, inventories and order issues are addressed in a timely manner. 
•    Responsible to manage Customers expectations for inventory and service KPI's, case fill, and delivery of new, promotional and replenished products.  
•    Monitor and track all orders to ensure on-time and complete shipments.
•    Review customer needs weekly to generate customer replenishment orders to meet weekly inventory/turn levels as specified by customer.  

•    Work with internal counterparts to ensure changing needs are planned accordingly.
•    Responsible for end to end Order Management process timeliness and accuracy.  
•    Achieve customer expectations via their internal metrics (Weeks of Supply, Out Of Stocks, Fill and Service expectations).  
•    Analyze and identify opportunities to improve  increase retail sales and drive volume.
•    Analyze, prepare and present scorecards to customers as required.
•    Execute business processes related to order cycle, forecasting, promotional activity, claims, returns, deductions, etc.
•    Resolves disputes including supply chain variations, forecast inaccuracies between Nestle Health Science and customers on all product related issues.
•    Collaborate with Leaders of Customer Supply Chain to identify and implement strategic initiatives to enhance customer relationship while reducing cost.

Requirements: 

•    High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. 
•    4+ years of relevant experience working with mass market Retail Inventory Management and Forecasting. 
•    Demonstrated fluency in MS Excel including experience working with large data sets and familiarity with creating & using v-lookups and pivot tables.
•    Demonstrated proficiency in other MS Office products including Word, Outlook and PowerPoint. 
•    Must have excellent communication (oral and written), organizational, presentation and stakeholder management skills (including the ability to build and maintain strong, cross-functional stakeholder relationships). 
•    Must be detail-oriented, results-oriented and possess strong creative thinking skills to develop solutions to complex problems or issues. 
•    Willing and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
•    Must possess excellent customer service skills and proactively seek out continuous process improvements and service improvements.  
•    Demonstrated proficiency in SAP is strongly preferred. 
•    Current or prior customer Supply Chain experience working with Costco is highly preferred. 
•    Willing and able to travel up to 5% based on the needs of the team and the business. 

The approximate pay range for this position is $80,000 to $90,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as geographic location.
