Senior Travel Agent (Remote) 

Full time, United States

You will report to Scott Harrington

 

In this role, you will perform high-touch service excellence to key client travelers and be responsible for accurately and efficiently handling incoming requests via multiple channels (i.e. phone, email, etc.). You will be the primary point of contact for executive-level travelers and provide active travel consultation, including providing travel details and up-selling related products.  

 

As a Senior Travel Agent, you will 

  • Expertly use the appropriate the BCD Travel tools and systems to complete requests 

  • Search and confirm travel reservations for the customer 

  • Strong understanding of a client travel policy and can appropriately guide and consistently provide consultation to the customer 

  • Fulfill all requests regarding necessary regulations (DOT, TSA, passports, visas, etc.) 

  • Excellent knowledge and application of travel supplier rules 

  • Maintain, actively communicate, and seek expansion of current knowledge of the state of the various travel industries supported 

 

About you 

  • Experience in corporate travel

  • Working knowledge of the travel industry, policies, procedures, and processes 

  • Current skills in GDS Sabre 

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English 

  • Must be able to work one weekend day

 

At BCD Travel we value you, our culture and success is defined by you. We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Travel Agent is between $55,000 and $62,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience and geographical location.
