Position Purpose: Responsible for developing, implementing, and delivering advanced training programs to ensure the accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness of claims department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in claims, with a deep understanding of claims processes and an ability to identify common errors or trends. They will use this expertise to design targeted training solutions that address claims errors, enhance team performance, and drive continuous improvement within the department.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and administer comprehensive training curriculum, employ technologies to ​create detailed instructional content, including eLearning modules, in-person workshops, job aids, and other resources that are tailored to meet the needs of the claims team.
  • Deliver engaging and effective training sessions to claims staff, ensuring clear communication of processes specific to the claims department and fostering an interactive learning environment.
  • Evaluate and asses effectiveness of training programs through feedback, testing, and post-training evaluations.
  • Audit team results, identify gaps in training and implement improvements in training programs
  • Track and report on progress, including the reduction of claims errors and improved performance metrics post-training.
  • Work closely with claims leadership and quality assurance teams to ensure alignment of training programs with department policies, procedures, goals and business objectives
  • Mentor and coach other trainers to improve their skills, knowledge, and effectiveness.
  • Ability to travel

***The Senior Trainer role is primarily remote. Candidates will be considered nationally.***

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience. 4+ years of training and auditing experience, preferably in a managed care or healthcare environment.
 

Pay Range: $67,400.00 - $121,300.00 per year
