We are actively seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to focus on driving and delivering multiple complex programs simultaneously across the Five9 organization. In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to work across the company and evangelize how our tech teams are building and architecting our newest innovations to support Five9's latest product offerings. This position is open to qualified applicants within the United States, with occasional travel to our San Ramon, CA headquarters. 

This role is a mix of strategic and tactical, where, using your extensive technical and leadership expertise you will own the program, anticipate and mitigate risks whilst balancing business needs against technical constraints. You will be required to build strong relationships between the Product Engineering applications & services, Product Management, as well as various Business Operations, Finance, and Executives alike.  Strong communication skills are a must.  Your responsibilities will include establishing commitments from dependencies, ensure high quality deliveries, and increase the productivity and velocity of the team to implement strategy and execution.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build the technological knowledge necessary to assess readiness through a series of communications, reviews, and retrospectives that enable other teams to effectively prepare for seamless delivery of capacity.
  • Drive measurable program performance. Establish governance over prioritization decisions to ensure alignment with key performance indicators.
  • Act as an influential member of a highly integrated team composed of both technical and non-technical members.
  • Work within a diverse team environment to execute work plans and schedules as applicable for mission success.
  • Build program plans, elicit and translate requirements, identify risks, manage schedules, and communicate clearly with project stakeholders.
  • Communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of Technical Program Management experience in a related industry.
  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication.
  • A proven track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on initiatives.
  • Thorough understanding of software development lifecycle from conception to delivery.
  • Experience working with cloud-based technologies (GCP/AWS preferred).
  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.
  • PMP, Prince2, CSM, or equivalent.

Work Location: This role is fully remote for candidates who reside outside the 50 mile radius of our San Ramon office.  For candidates who reside within 50 miles of our San Ramon location, this role is Hybrid and would require 3 days a week (M, W, TH) in our San Ramon office.

Additionally, the total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, stock, and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.

All compensation and benefits are subject to the requirements and restrictions set forth in the applicable plan documents and any written agreements between the parties.

The US base salary range for this role is below. $105,500—$197,400 USD
