Senior Targeting Analyst

Overview of Opportunity 

We are looking for an experienced Targeting Analyst to help our customers get the most valuable and actionable information out of our proprietary platforms and diverse data sets. The Two Six Information Advantage team (TSI) drives information advantage for our clients through the Pulse suite of products and support from tradecraft experts. We need a Targeting Analyst who understands our clients’ needs and missions, has mastered the analytic discipline of targeting, and is motivated to help us bring new technology and methodologies to support our clients’ targeting needs. This position is remote, but may require short-notice meetings in the Washington DC metro area. Periodic travel to other sites around the US and the world might also be required.

What you will do:

• A talented targeter with at least five years’ experience on diverse target sets and who is comfortable working with complex data sets.

• A fast learner who can master new tools and platforms and combine them with your existing experience and expertise.

What you will need:

• Five or more years of experience targeting in a national security context, ideally with the Department of Defense or the Intelligence Community.
• Strong understanding of the different kinds of data sets relevant to targeting needs, both in classified and unclassified contexts.
• Strong ability to plan, direct, and coordinate the preparation of multi-disciplinary targeting analysis that supports key customer priorities.
• Expert ability to apply a full range of methodological tools and approaches to gain a comprehensive understanding of complex and significant analytic issues and incorporate insights and findings into well-crafted, sophisticated intelligence products.
• Excellent organization and knowledge management.
• Strong understanding of our customers’ missions.
• Enthusiasm for learning every part of the Pulse suite.
• Exceptional ability to collaborate with experts of different kinds.
• Active TS security clearance (TS/SCI preferred).

Nice to haves:

• Experience teaching or mentoring, especially in a professional context.
• Experience working with PAI and CAI data sets.
• Experience analyzing topics or developing targeting sets related to Great Power Competition.

• Active TS required.

The projected salary range listed for this position is annualized. This is a general guideline and not a guarantee of salary. Salary is one component of our total compensation package and the specific salary offered is determined by various factors, including, but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, geographic location, as well as contract specific affordability and organizational requirements.
