This is where you and your skills come in. We’re currently looking for a full-time Senior Systems Engineer to join our RingCentral’s Finance Applications team. In this position, you will work with business partners, technology architects and system analysts to help implement the enterprise applications product roadmap. As an application engineer, you will apply your technical and functional knowledge to analyze system issues, perform bug triage, coordinate with multiple cross functional teams and find solutions. You will be responsible for documenting detailed processes, performing systems configuration, scripting, bug fixes, testing, implementation, continuous improvement and ongoing support. To ensure we provide optimal service, you will be skilled at business processes and methodologies along with a strong analytical and data modeling background. 

To succeed in this role you must have experience in:

Business Requirements & Analysis: 

• Works closely with business partners, internal or external, to understand processes, gaps and goals.

• Analyze existing and future state business processes, systems and flows of data. 

• Develop and maintain documentation related to developing and modifying business processes and systems.

• Partner with business, internal and external technology teams to define associated system requirements and solutions. 

• Participate in systems implementation projects (requirements documentation, systems configuration, test documentation/execution, issue identification and resolution). 

• Be the techno-functional person who can provide technical solutions to business. problems related to Finance Enterprise applications

Business Solutions Design, Delivery & Support: 

• Work hands on to solving technical/systems issues by investigating system configurations, system integrations and API’s.

• Proactive and takes initiative to gather information, investigate gaps / issues, identifies potential solutions and presents to both Business and IT stakeholders.

• Facilitate review sessions with functional owners, subject matter experts and end-user representatives.
