Your Role
As a Senior Systems Analyst, you'll play a critical role on our FinOps practice, wielding your expertise in cloud platforms and software usage to optimize spend and ensure efficient resource utilization. You'll work closely with Engineers, Product Managers and business leaders to translate cloud spend into actionable insights, informing product decisions and mitigating the need for additional resources.
In this role, you'll:
- Develop cost-reduction strategies. Youâll forecast future resource consumption and identify opportunities to optimize spending on cloud services like AWS EC2 and GCP MediaCDN.
- Build a chargeback model. By designing a data model to allocate cloud and software costs to internal services and customer contracts, youâll help ensure transparency and accountability.
- Automate processes. Youâll streamline your work by automating month-end processes and keeping your forecasts continuously updated.
- Improve communication and collaboration. As a stakeholder partner, youâll translate complex data into clear narratives, driving informed decision-making.
For this role, we're currently considering candidates who live within a commuting distance of our offices in Lincoln or Omaha, Nebraska. But with our flexible work policy, there aren't any current requirements for the number of days you come to the office.
