Position Overview:
The Senior System Analyst is responsible for analyzing and trending escalated cases to identify and bring emerging issues to resolution efficiently, ensuring effective root cause analysis and continuous platform enhancement. This role focuses on minimizing escalated tickets and improving SLAs through proactive monitoring and solution implementation. Additionally, the senior System Analyst will manage and mentor a team of analysts, fostering their growth through guidance, training, and development.
Position Holder is Accountable For:
- Identify emerging issues and trends for all supported platforms.
- Provide technical support for both internal and external customers.
- Perform second-level problem determination, incident resolution, and periodic platforms health checks.
- Collect information, test, and provide root cause documentation.
- Effectively cooperate with technical development teams to manage escalated issues.
- Identify options for potential solutions, workarounds and assess them for both technical and business suitability.
- Collaborate with program managers, developers, testers, and a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction.
- Coordinate communication with customers, RQIP support and field teams.
- Advise on system guidelines and manuals for the organization.
- Building and maintaining usage and trending analysis dashboards in Salesforce, Jira, and Power BI.
- Manage and mentor a team of analysts, fostering professional growth through training, feedback, and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities and performance.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered for otherwise qualified candidates.
- Advanced knowledge in MySQL (retrieve data by joining multiple tables, modifying data, etc.). Certification is preferred.
- Advanced knowledge in Power BI and Excel including data visualization, pivot tables, graphs, formulas, and live connectors to various sources.
- Extensive experience in advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Proficiency with SCORM and LMS technologies, with hands-on experience in their application and support.
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in system analysis, advanced platform troubleshooting, integration, and network issues including Root Cause and Trending analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage expectations and explain technical details.
- Experience leading a function or team
- Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Work efficiently and collaboratively across all levels of the organizations.
- Proven experience with training, mentoring, and onboarding new team members.
- Availability to accommodate global team time zones.
The estimated annual base salary for this position is $90,000 to $95,000. Please note that this range does not include any other compensation or benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, level of education attained, and/or professional certifications, years of relevant experience, special skills, etc.
