Overview
LMI is seeking a skilled Air Force Retail Supply Functional Requirements Analyst to support the Integrated Logistics System – Supply (ILS-S) program office. The functional requirements analyst is responsible for leading and working with teams of individuals in analyzing, documenting and developing retail supply software system capability requirements; to include the development, documentation, and execution of functional software test plans. This position requires the analyst to assist in researching and analyzing currently fielded operational software deficiencies, and developing alternative solutions for mitigating and resolving software deficiencies. The analyst must possess a thorough understanding of existing Air Force retail supply system functional capabilities and the system’s external logistics data system interfaces, and be able to effectively apply that knowledge to identify and present functional capability improvement options to senior Air Force supply functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include:
- Lead functional capability requirements teams in documenting, testing, and fielding new and updated software solutions.
- Effectively communicate functional capability requirements, and coordinate software development efforts with software development teams.
- Manage software testing tasks to support monthly software delivery schedules.
- Utilize the JIRA application for documenting and monitoring ILS-S software development and testing status.
- Author and peer review Confluence User Story documentation of new functional capability requirements.
- Update the ILS-S User’s Manual as needed to incorporate new and updated functional capabilities and user screens.
- Research current and future Air Force supply policy issues and provide responsive analyses to various senior supply functionals.
- Brief program office leadership on the status of ongoing and planned software deliveries.
- Perform detailed analyses of all interfacing data system requirements and assesses the impact of interface system change requirements on ILS-S software development and testing processes.
- Support Operations/Help Desk personnel with solutions or work around suggestions to resolve operational problems in the field.
- Provide functional capability requirements analysis, software testing and system functionality expertise support for government working groups.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of twenty (20) years of Air Force Supply Chain Analytics experience.
- Extensive experience in functional capability requirements documentation.
- Expert knowledge in Air Force Retail Supply System processes.
- Expert knowledge in Air Force Supply doctrine.
- Strong familiarity with MS Office Tools, JIRA, and Confluence.
- Basic Structured Query Language (SQL) skills.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Bachelor's degree (Supply Chain Management or Logistics preferred)
- Prior military or DoD civilian/contractor experience
- Eligible for DoD security clearance
- Candidates in Montgomery, AL area preferred
Targeted Salary Range: $90,000-$120,000
