The CRIMINAL JUSTICE SENIOR SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT will perform a range of analytical, writing, editing, training, and technical assistance, coaching, problem-solving and related work in support of multiple projects addressing community gun violence and large-scale violent incidents. Specifically, you will be responsible for ensuring that training and technical assistance (TTA) services are delivered to the states, territories, and local jurisdictions through assessing needs and developing, overseeing, and implementing TTA plans. One of your key goals is to support your team in pro-actively reaching victim service organizations, service providers, and the criminal justice system at national, state, and local levels, many of whom may not be familiar with best practices in response. Can you plan and coordinate the delivery of training and technical assistance services to the field? Do you have a thorough knowledge of victim services? Do you have subject matter expertise to guide localities through complex victim centered responses to violent incidents? Are you able to coach and supervise the work of others?
