Senior Specialist, Oncology Clinical Development Finance
Under the guidance of the Oncology Clinical Development Finance Associate Director, the Finance Senior Specialist will:
Provide financial planning, forecasting and analytical support to our Research & Development Division Oncology Clinical Development
Forecast grant spend as well as provide financial support related to assigned clinical studies
Be the primary point of Finance contact for a wide range of stakeholders including the Global Project Manager, Alliance Manager, Global Trial Manager, Clinical Sub Team, Clinical Trial Team, Outsourced Trial Team, and Partnerships, Alliances, and Collaborations Team for all project issues related to study budget, site and vendor related payments, asset valuation and impairment.
Develop and participate in team presentations associated with any financial and/or operational review with client areas being supported, including the Late Development Review Committee.
Support project team decision making by providing relevant financial information and insight.
Play a central role in developing the Long Range Operating Plan, Quarterly Forecasts, and monthly/quarterly close activities.
Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to review of all US site payments related to visits completed, milestones completed and reimbursement for out of pocket expenses according to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, the Sarbanes Oxley Act.
In this role, the candidate should expect to:
Gain end-to-end exposure to the drug development process and the Research & Development pipeline while gaining relevant experience supporting functions in Global Clinical Development

Increase personal network through engagement with other key business partners (Project Management, Human Resources, Procurement, etc.)
Travel: Limited to no travel in the job unless deemed important by the business or clients.
Position Qualifications:
Education Minimum Requirement:
B.A./B.S., preferably in Business, Finance, Science or Engineering
Required Experience and Skills:
Minimum of 3 years of operations or Finance experience
Must have the desire to continuously learn and continue professional development
Strong computer skills, especially working with Excel and PowerPoint.
Demonstrated ability to effectively work in a challenging and complex environment.
Demonstrated ability to influence, build and maintain diverse client and peer relationships
Excellent communication skills
