Team builds new services and products that are common to all application teams.What you'll do...
Sams Application Common Services team provides common mobile/web components used across application teams in Sams. We are a highly motivated group of engineers, working in an agile group to solve sophisticated and high impact problems. This role is part of the team to build new products and services and maintain existing service/ product. Our application/services is integrated with 30+ teams including In-Club, Supply Chain, Merchandise etc.
What you'll do:
Work closely with our product, design, and UX teams to create amazing and intuitive experiences that make it effortless to connect different apps together.
Help put tools, processes, and documentation in place to improve our code quality.
Demonstrate technical expertise in solving challenging programming and design problems
Review code written by other team members or other teams.
Share what you know and learn either one-on-one or with lightning talks to the group.
Work boldly with a sense of urgency; embrace mistakes, learn from them, and drive the team toward success
What you'll bring:
Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (Any), or related field and 2 years of experience in large scale enterprise software development environment: OR Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (Any), or related field and 5-7 years of experience in large scale enterprise software development environment.
5+ years of experience programming in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, REST Services, and related technologies. 3+ years of experience with Cloud technologies
5+ year of Experience implementing and deploying containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
5+ years of Experience with Relational databases and/or NoSQL Database.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
