Job Description

Job Description: Run new client implementations in the healthcare industry. Develop
new scalable, well tested and stable software products in Ruby on Rails. Support our
products - Supply technical help and production issues analysis. Master and implement
solutions during implementation with all of Flywire related products. Collaborate with
other team members to allow a smooth go-live for Flywire’s clients. Coordinate with
implementation managers and support to improve our products and increase agility. Work
with implementation manager to come up with client specific solutions. Run user
acceptance tests and go-live process. Create processes to generate reports and papers
statements. Telecommuting permissible from any location in the U.S.

Qualifications

Requirements: Master’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science or
related field and two (2) years of experience in Software development or in the job
offered or related role.

Experience and/or education must include:
1. Scalable software application development and its applications for growth in
Ruby on Rails;
2. Healthcare industry knowledge: understanding basic concepts of insurance,
copay, industry operations and payment procedures;
3. Monitoring and alerts design for systems to explain and execute key
concepts in the monitoring world of a large-scale program, including design
for a relevant system of our two tiers of monitoring and alerting on errors
and execute this plan with a relevant alert system e.g. Grafana, Kibana, Sumo
Logic, New Relic;
4. Writing automated coding tests to produce a well-tested and stable software
to support the client’s high availability needs, debugging and adding new
tests using spec tools such as rspec and Cypress or similar;
5. Working with dockerised environment on a Linux server; and
6. Working with various DBs both sql and no sql and key-value including Mysql
Mongo Redis or similar

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $140,000/year - $221,000/year plus restricted stock units and benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, position level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and several other factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant education and training.
