The Senior Software Engineer codes software applications based on business requirements. The Senior Software Engineer work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors, resulting in high quality software.

This Senior Software Engineer role will involve development of web applications, desktop applications, web services, and Office-based automation tools. This will require extensive communication with other departments for understanding of business needs. Project requirements can change regularly and the ability to adapt to these changes is critical. Associates in this role will primarily work independently with minimal guidance. A strong interest in the field is expected along with willingness to continue to improve your skills.
The Senior Software Engineer role will primarily be focused on VBA development and conversion. The majority of existing code was developed outside of IT and will require a passion for improving less-than-optimal code.

Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of development experience in: C# (ASP.NET Core, WPF), HTML, JavaScript, MS SQL
- General knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; particularly Excel and Access
- Experience in problem analysis and process documentation
- Experience working in cross-functional, collaborative teams
- Excellent communication skills when problem-solving for end users
- Confidence to ask questions and learn from failures
- Strong ability to understand existing code and refactor when appropriate
- Eagerness to learn and acquire new development skills as needs change
- 5 or more years of experience designing, developing, and testing of software applications
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in the healthcare or pharmacy industry
- VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) Experience
- Master's Degree
