What you’ll do

• Write optimised, modular Java code
• Understand and apply OOP and clean code concepts
• Write Restful Web Services
• Work with cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and the associated architectural patterns (configuration as code, containers, etc);
• Code reviews and pair programming
• Able to analyse and synthesise complex technical information

What you’ll bring

• 7+ years’ experience (senior position) working in Java
• Practitioner of Unit Testing (JUnit, JBehave), CI/CD, Build Automation and Agile Methodologies
• Comprehensive knowledge of writing your own tests (including integration tests, end-to-end tests, and beyond) to ensure robust software quality
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL)
• Web services knowledge
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native architecture (Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker)
• Experience with cloud services knowledge (AWS/GCP/Azure/OCI) is a plus
• Experience with MicroServices architecture is a plus
• Hands-on experience with Kafka is a plus, especially for building event-driven architectures.

The base salary for this position is from €4900 to €6200 gross (before taxes) monthly. This is a full-time equivalent target rate.
