Lattice Performance Calibrations team is focused on helping managers and admins deliver on an experience critical to every employee - performance talent reviews and calibrations. Meeting the needs of extensive configuration but simplistic user experience is crucial in allowing individuals to focus on crafting performance reviews with relevant information from our product suite, like feedback, goals, growth areas, and so much more. In addition, the team is exploring 0 to 1 initiatives to further enhance the employee life cycle with projects like Succession Planning.
What You Will Bring to the Table
You will be responsible for guiding and coaching the development of your direct reports, providing performance feedback, hiring, and fostering a diverse, collaborative and inclusive team culture.
- You are passionate about Software Development and have 5+ years of professional experience writing and maintaining production-level applications.
- You are proficient in TypeScript, React and GraphQL and passionate about learning and using any new technologies that are required at the job.
- You are efficient in SQL and know how to model data and write performant queries in a relational database like PostgreSQL.
- You love to work on challenging projects.
- You are able to seek out the root cause when debugging software defects, and champion improvements that prevent future issues.
- Youâre always striving towards understanding the codebase inside and out.
- You have the ability to understand the nuances of product requirements and translate them into code.
- Youâre clear and concise in explaining your thought process in both written and verbal format.
What You Will Do
- Youâll be responsible for building software to help companies build cultures in which their employees thrive.
- Youâll partner with other engineers to build and own products across a modern tech stack. (Our current stack includes: React, Relay Modern, GraphQL, Node, and PostgreSQL.Â
- Youâll craft contributions to our engineering practices, identifying and evangelizing improvements to improve team output.
- Youâll provide substantial mentorship to less experienced colleagues, helping to refine their technical craft and expand their knowledge.
