Senior ServiceNow Developer- Hybrid

Job Description

The Senior ServiceNow Developer will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive solutions leveraging the ServiceNow Platform to enable essential services aimed at enhancing workplace experiences. Our Stakeholders include the HR, Finance, Information Technology, Legal, Procurement, and Security organizations allowing for diverse opportunities to improve the way people work across the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a thorough understanding of end-users' needs and requirements.

  • Research and evaluate available ServiceNow technologies that align with customer specifications.

  • Oversee technical stand-up meetings, including estimation and refinement of user stories.

  • Define project scope and objectives based on customer requirements.

  • Implement the defined release strategy for the ServiceNow platform.

  • Present technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Facilitate coordination efforts to gather business and functional requirements in compliance with established guidelines.

  • Draft comprehensive functional specifications documenting the architecture development process.

  • Document all procedures to support the development, deployment, and utilization of the platform.

  • Translate functional requirements into concrete technical solutions.

  • Conduct risk analyses, feasibility studies, and trade-off analyses to refine functional requirements and specifications.

  • Collaborate with systems architects to provide oversight during design solution development.

  • Build, install, configure, and test tools as per finalized designs.

  • Integrate solutions with external platforms like workday and Ariba.

  • Develop and implement software testing and validation procedures.

  • Document the implications of new solutions and interface implementations on the current and target environments, including security considerations.

  • Participate in developing training materials and curricula for end-users and relevant team members.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years of In-depth knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, with hands-on experience in its various modules, including CMDB, ITSM, ITOM Discovery, Portals, and Automation.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, complemented by excellent documentation capabilities.

  • Proficiency in JavaScript, and/or Python, API integration, and web service calls.

Preferred Experience and Skills

  • Proficiency in API integration, and web service calls.

  • Understanding of relational databases, including the ability to write custom queries and create database views/schemas.

  • Experience in Agile development methodologies.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on-site per week, Monday - Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day, unless business critical tasks require an on-site presence.This Hybrid work model does not apply to, and daily in-person attendance is required for, field-based positions; facility-based, manufacturing-based, or research-based positions where the work to be performed is located at a Company site; positions covered by a collective-bargaining agreement (unless the agreement provides for hybrid work); or any other position for which the Company has determined the job requirements cannot be reasonably met working remotely. The Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job in certain states and cities within the United States. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and education.

Expected US salary range:

$114,700.00 - $180,500.00
