Senior SEO Strategist

Position: Senior SEO Strategist

Working Hours: 9 am to 5 pm EST, Monday to Friday

Salary Range: $2600-2800 USD

Type of contract: Independent Contractor

Scope of the Role 

As a Sr. SEO Strategist, you will be responsible for owning the definition, execution, and optimization of SEO strategies for clients across various industries. Your primary focus will be on driving impactful, measurable results through a comprehensive approach to search engine optimization.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth technical analyses and provide detailed fix lists and content strategies for onboarding new clients
•  Communicate SEO strategies and results effectively to clients, ensuring alignment with their business and sales goals
•  Perform thorough keyword research to identify high-potential opportunities for clients to target
•  Create detailed article outlines and manage the content creation process, including optimization and quality assurance
•  Conduct quarterly technical reviews and crawls, providing actionable recommendations for improvements
•  Analyze competitor SEO and content strategies to uncover opportunities for your clients
•  Define success metrics and KPIs, translating SEO performance into tangible business impact
•  Prepare and present monthly performance reports for clients

Requirements

• C1 English level, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. (Must Have)
• At least 4 years of experience (senior level) working in an agency or similar setting
•  Proficiency in using SEMRush, Rank Ranger, and Google Analytics
•  Demonstrated success in managing SEO strategies for multiple websites, including e-commerce and software-focused clients
•  Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
•  Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex SEO concepts to clients
