Senior Security Engineer

The Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and data. The Sr Security Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing security measures, performing vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, and actively monitoring our systems for potential threats and breaches.

What You'll Do:

  • Ensure all systems and processes consistently meet the standards required by SOC 2 Type II, CCPA, GDPR, and other relevant security measures.
  • Design, implement, and manage security solutions on Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring robustness in high volume traffic scenarios.
  • Conduct comprehensive penetration tests to identify vulnerabilities in both software and infrastructure.
  • Oversee dynamic and static application security testing to proactively spot potential security flaws.
  • Implement and maintain security best practices within .NET development teams to minimize vulnerabilities early in the development phase.
  • Lead the response to security breaches and other incidents, including detailed analysis and preventative strategy development.
  • Manage and respond to security questionnaires from prospects and partners, detailing security measures and compliance.
  • Continually update and maintain security policies to adapt to evolving threats and regulatory changes.
  • Update and maintain the trust portal to accurately represent the current security and compliance status, serving as a resource for customers and partners.
  • Partner with DevOps teams to ensure security measures are effectively integrated into the infrastructure, particularly in high volume traffic environments

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a security engineering role, with proven expertise in high-traffic environments and the fintech industry.
  • Required certifications include CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Azure and its security tools.
    • Thorough understanding of compliance requirements including SOC 2 Type II, CCPA, GDPR.
    • Experienced in conducting penetration tests, and DAST/SAST.
    • Proficient in secure coding practices, particularly within .NET frameworks.
