Position Overview 

 

The Senior Salesforce Developer will report to the VP of GTM Operations and Strategy and partner with Sales Operations, Sales, Customer Success, Marketing Operations, and other internal teams to design, customize, and maintain business applications. This position will play an essential role in the customization and automation of business processes and the integration of cloud-based tools, with a strong focus on Salesforce and CPQ. 

 

Responsibilities 

 

  • Design and build customizations using Salesforce technologies (Apex, Lightning components, Visualforce, etc.) 

  • Maintain existing customizations and adapt them to evolving business needs 

  • Support business operations, including integrations and optimizations 

  • Partner with business teams to build out requirements for new processes that incorporate IT best practices, translating business needs into effective tools within Salesforce

  • Assist in business systems implementations, testing, rollouts, and user training 

  • Own the entire application development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to testing, deployment, and ongoing support 

  • Create and maintain documentation for integrations and other customizations 

  • Support and maintain existing systems, including troubleshooting issues reported by users 

  • Strong technical skills and ability to analyze and troubleshoot problems 

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, including strong verbal and written communication  skills

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently while closely collaborating with other groups in the company, all while working remotely with a geographically distributed team 

  • Curiosity and ability to work in a fast-paced environment that will challenge organizational and time management skills 

  • Ability to learn while producing positive results for end users on the job daily

  • Capable of growing with the company 

 

Qualifications 

  • 7+ years experience developing Salesforce customizations and integrations 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field 

  • Strongly prefer candidates with a background working in IT teams 

  • Salesforce certification is preferred 

  • Advanced Expertise with Apex, SOQL, Visualforce, and Lightning Component Development 

  • Expertise with Python, Java, or similar object-oriented programming language 

  • Experience with relational databases and SQL/SOQL 

Our Compensation and Benefits

At Menlo Security, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is $127,000 - $223,000.

In accordance with NY, CO, CA, and WA law, the range provided is Menlo Security’s reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become Menlo Security shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance.
