This role requires can work remotely supporting our client based in Seattle, WA
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
We are seeking a process governance expert to join our team. As a Senior Risk Consultant - Process Governance, you will bring your expertise to our client to implement a Process Governance and Documentation Workstream that delivers clarity, consistency, and simplicity for stakeholders interacting with these processes. The role will focus on designing, documenting and operationalizing a process governance framework while transferring knowledge and skills to the client's Enterprise Risk Management team for long-term ownership.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design and Documentation:
• Develop a process governance framework, including templates, workflows, and supporting documentation. Align these assets with the technologies already leveraged within the ERM function.
• Create visualizations and process maps using tools like Visio or comparable alternatives (e.g., Lucidchart, Miro). These should provide clarity on roles, responsibilities, accountabilities, and workflows in an intuitive format.
Mentorship and Training:
• Provide hands-on mentorship and training to ensure the client team gains the skills to sustain and support the program independently.
• Guide the team in documentation and governance best practices, emphasizing simplicity and stakeholder accessibility.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
• Work with internal stakeholders across departments to ensure the governance program aligns seamlessly with broader ERM functions.
• Establish clarity regarding ownership, accountabilities, and roles while fostering alignment on program priorities.

YOUR EXPERIENCE:
- Strong experience in process documentation and governance frameworks (e.g., COSO, ISO 31000, or similar).
- Proficiency in tools like Visio or equivalent alternatives (Lucidchart, Miro, etc.) for process mapping and visualization.
- Ability to lead workshops, mentor team members, and facilitate cross-departmental discussions.
- Familiarity with workflow management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Monday.com, Confluence) is a plus.
- Effective balance of detailed support with strategic oversight.
- Strong communication and cultural alignment with collaborative environments.
- Proactive in providing structured support aligned with the client’s risk appetite and priorities.
- Experienced in building trust and confidence through active mentorship and team engagement.
- Previous consulting experience is always welcomed!
WHAT WE OFFER:
- Competitive compensation with opportunities for additional incentives. The annual salary range for this role is $140,000-$180,000.
