Senior Revenue Recognition Accountant

Your opportunity

The Senior Revenue Recognition Accountant will manage revenue related general ledger, revenue recognition, 
close processes, financial reporting duties, system implementations, and revenue operations. A qualified
candidate will be detail oriented, deadline driven, have a strong understanding of US GAAP, and be adaptable to a
fast-paced environment and be able to thrive in a collaborative environment.
The position will report directly to the Senior Manager of Revenue Recognition.

What you'll do

• Prepare general ledger account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy in reporting and data verification.
• Review revenue contracts for compliance with ASC 606 revenue recognition standards.
• Manage revenue and third-party expense schedules while supporting timely financial close processes, including
  journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals.
• Assist with financial and SOX audits, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
• Participate in process improvement projects and contribute to the implementation of the Revenue Engine 
  system.
• Collaborate with management on special projects, ad-hoc requests, and other assigned tasks

This role requires

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 4+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and manage 
  sensitive information.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and procedures, with a focus on ASC 606.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and streamline workflows

Bonus points if you have

• CPA license.
• Experience in a publicly-traded, high-tech, or high-growth company.
• Big 4 accounting firm experience.
• SaaS industry experience.

• Familiarity with systems like NetSuite, Salesforce, and Zuora

The pay range below represents a reasonable estimate of the salary for the listed position. This role is eligible for a corporate bonus plan. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related factors such as an applicant’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
