Senior Quality Assurance Analyst

ICF is seeking a highly motivated Quality Assurance Analyst to support digital solutions for a variety of Federal clients, including the Department of Treasury.  The analyst will support our projects by collaborating and working with a cross-functional team to deliver quality, innovative, and highly scalable CRM applications to end clients, and will serve as a Quality Assurance Analyst, performing testing and verification/validation activities for team I.T. deliveries. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with cross disciplinary teams.

 

What you’ll be doing:

Manage and support daily work requests for one or more project teams by providing:

• Support testing of the software application, including writing test cases, test scripts, and creating test reports.
• Participate in requirements grooming for sprint preparation.
• Work with the scrum team to analyze user stories and write test scripts.
• Support User Acceptance Testing by conducting demos and tracking defects.
• Complete Testing and deliver impeccable High level and UAT Test scripts on time.
• Take part in backlog grooming and sprint planning and work with the project team to identify risks/impacts to the system.
• Perform various types of testing including functional, regression and smoke testing on web based or CRM applications.
• Maintain regression testing suite by updating test cases to include newly added functionality.
• Work with developers to perform root-cause analysis, preliminary problem diagnosis, implement bug fixes and change requests.
• Execute test cases and identify and track defects with clear steps to reproduce.
• Conduct demos or training necessary for the successful execution of the project.
• Use Jira or similar tools to provide visibility to status, metrics, predictability, throughput, quality, impediments, and dependencies.

 

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of demonstrable experience in various types of testing including front-end, regression testing on web-based or CRM applications.
• 3+ years of demonstrable experience documenting and tracking defects and tests in JIRA and creating test plans for code promotion through tiered environments.
• US Citizenship due to federal contract requirements.
• Ability to obtain U.S. government public trust.
• MUST RESIDE IN THE United States (U.S.) and the work MUST BE PERFORMED in the United States (U.S.), as this work is for a federal contract and laws do apply

• Experience with CRM solutions like Salesforce
• Experience with Automated Testing 
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and time management skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and within one or more teams with excellent time management, organizational, and reporting skills

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$81,094.00 - $137,860.00
