Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Purchasing & Facilities Specialist to join our Global Procurement Team. This role involves managing the sourcing process, working with the P2P system (Workday), conducting market research, negotiating commercial terms with suppliers, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies. You will support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the Procurement team’s strategy, processes, tools, and documentation.

The role requires to have a proven track record of delivery across several categories and a range of spend from low value/risk to strategic business-critical projects. This role works closely with other stakeholders including, Executive Management, Finance, Legal, HR, Marketing, and Events.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement

  • Managing the purchase order lifecycle for the following procurement categories: HR, Marketing, Facility Management, Real Estate and Travel, including approvals, invoicing, inventory levels, and ensuring alignment with project goals and budgets

  • Proactively sourcing and assessing suppliers to ensure the best fit for our goods and services needs

  • Building strong, lasting relationships with suppliers and collaborating with internal teams to deliver seamless procurement outcomes

  • Maintaining accurate supplier data and ensuring all contracts are aligned with approved expenditure, company policies, and legal standards

  • Identifying opportunities for cost savings, improved supplier performance, and process optimization

  • Create and manage all requests for proposals (RFPs), requistions, POs, change orders and invoicing

  • Ensure all documentation is well organised and accessible

  • Assist with the onboarding of suppliers and foster a positive supplier relationship

  • Create quarterly reports and dashboards to monitor overall progress

  • Participate in the review and streamlining of procurement processes and support embedding new processes in the business with stakeholders

Facilities and Real Estate

  • Acts as a first point of contact for both company management as well as staff members for any facilities related matters

  • Manages the facilities related suppliers

  • Maintains the office condition and arranges necessary repairs

  • Responsible for the office use and safety procedures, also in accordance with DTN ISO certifications: ISO 14001, ISO 22301 and ISO 45001

  • Responsible for maintaining and delivering all facilities-related activities within the allocated budget

Experience/Skill set:

  • Proven track record of delivery in a similar procurement role, covering several aspects including; buying goods and services.

  • Strong stakeholder management

  • Effective supplier performance manager

  • Senior level negotiator of contracts with program and project management experience

  • Proven success of purchasing for internal customers

  • Deep understanding of procurement best practices

  • Knowledge of Supplier Relationship Management

  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft MS Excel and other MS Office applications (i.e. Word, PowerPoint)

  • Creating and managing complex tender and benchmarking exercises

  • Experienced in the interpretation of contracts and clauses, in-depth understanding of contracts with service and goods-specific knowledge

  • Ability to effectively influence and manage internal stakeholders and senior leaders

  • Confident in leading difficult conversations and negotiations both internally and externally

  • Problem-solving and an ability to focus on multiple projects

The targeted hiring base pay range for this position is between $72,000 and $96,000 USD. DTN is a pay for performance organization, which means there is the opportunity to advance your compensation with performance over time. The actual base pay offered for this position will be dependent upon many factors, including but not limited to: prior work experience, training/education, transferable skills, business needs, internal equity and applicable laws. The targeted hiring base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for market competitive variable pay and benefits.
