Job Description
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for directing strategic, enterprise-level projects/programs of the highest complexity and impact. The Senior Project Manager provides project management on projects with the highest level of risk, organizational span, business complexity, team size, and interdependencies. Projects are managed across multiple functional areas and are of strategic importance to the organization.Key Responsibilities
• Demonstrates thought leadership in problem solving and effective interaction with senior management
• Demonstrates mastery of best practices in project management and communication processes and contributes to the improvement of these processes at Allstate
• Drives agenda and facilitates projects/program steering committee meetings; delivers project communication and issues in an easily understood simplified style to any audience
• Drives achievement of enterprise level projects/program success factors
• Customizes solutions for complex issues typically involving enterprise-level considerations
• Trains project management techniques and leads by example in raising the level of performance
• Takes the lead role in highly pressurized situations when there is a need to communicate critical project information while remaining sensitive to organizational politics
• Leverages organizational dynamics to influence outcomes through leadership and communication skills
• Drives project execution. Provides direction and oversight throughout project lifecycle to project team to meet applicable business requirements
• Represents the projects/program and its objectives in all governance and gating forums
Education
• 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
Experience
• 7 or more years of experience (Preferred)
Supervisory Responsibilities
• This job does not have supervisory duties.

• In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Compensation offered for this role is $95,700.00 - 170,925.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
