THE OPPORTUNITY
This Senior Project Manager position can work remotely within the U.S.
Senior Project Manager to execute highly complex or specialized projects.
Adapts precedent and may make significant departures from traditional approaches to develop solutions. Responsible for developing, communicating, implementing, enforcing and monitoring security controls to protect the organization's technology assets from intentional or inadvertent modification, disclosure or destruction.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
Provide project management consultation and mentorship of the various project phases and the deliverables such as: development and execution of the project plan, network diagrams, and the work breakdown structure (WBS); analyzing critical paths; schedule management; resource planning; project budgeting; cost control; quality planning and control; project organizational planning; communications planning; risk identification and control; project performance reviews, project variance analysis, trend analysis, and earned value analysis.
Manage the delivery of consolidated scorecards, dashboards and status reports that provide objective measurements of the financial, quality and schedule performance of all projects to enable management to make strategic decisions.
Oversee the development and implementation of a project management knowledge repository to gather data across projects such as “Lessons Learned” to improve project management practices.
Provides program facilitation services to support the evolution of project/portfolio management processes and tools (e.g. Clarity, Microsoft Project Server and Microsoft Project Portfolio Server) shared across the organization.
Further develop Abbott’s project management maturity and help project managers improve project management competencies through coaching, identifying and developing educational courses and materials specific to the field of project management.
Proactively identify new trends in project and portfolio management and communicates these with key stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in related technical field
5-7 years General Business Experience
8-10 years General Project Management Experience

The base pay for this position is
$125,300.00 – $250,700.00In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
