Overview

LMI is seeking a Senior Project Coordinator to support our Department of Homeland Security (DHS) customer. This position is responsible for leading and coordinating a wide range of laboratory operational projects and records/knowledge management initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Provide program/project management and support for laboratory system upgrades, including infrastructure and IT projects
  • Lead record management initiatives and relevant organizational compliance with Department and federal requirements
  • Lead knowledge management initatives to promote information sharing across the organization
  • Develop foundational program documents (e.g., work plans, strategic plans, etc.) and leadership briefings 
  • Implement process improvement initiatives, including review and revisoin of standard operating procedures
  • Identify programmatic strengths and weaknesses and lead developoment of corrective actions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree; Master’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of experience
  • Experience supporting federal government clients is preferred but not required
  • Proficiency with the use of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Visio, Teams, etc.
  • Strong program management and consulting skills to support strategy development, process improvements, and operating framework development
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external customers
  • Effective problem-solver.
  • Ability to pass a DHS background investigation
  • Must be eligible to receive DHS Suitability

Target salary range: $104,000 - $160,000
