THE JOB: Senior Project Coordinator, PHP Outreach (12 Month Contract)
The starting salary range falls within the minimum to mid-point of the salary range.
Starting Salary Range: $63,600 - $79,500
The Senior Project Coordinator, PHP Outreach, will lead the implementation of several PHP Outreach projects and initiatives to improve program awareness and increase access and availability of physician education and learning opportunities. This role will oversee the development of the PHP Wellness Workshop Suite, working closely with physician subject matter experts and various Doctors of BC departments to create curriculum content and facilitator guides. They will lead working groups with physicians, leaders, and internal partners to inform the design and delivery of wellness workshops, ensuring content is effectively communicated.
This role will support with coordinating various provincial wellness initiatives with planning, implementation and evaluations. The Senior Coordinator will also support the implementation of the PHP communication strategy, engaging with various internal and external partners on a number of communication activities. The role will also lead coordination of all workshop and engagement requests across the province to increase awareness of physician wellness initiatives.
In addition to project responsibilities, the Senior Project Coordinator will conduct research on best practices to enhance PHP's communication, engagement, and outreach efforts. The role requires strong interpersonal, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to adapt processes when needed, particularly when collaborating with external partners. The successful candidate will demonstrate creativity in increasing PHP awareness, support leaders with follow-up actions, and ensure the successful execution of outreach projects across the province.

WHAT YOU BRING
- An undergraduate degree or a specialized post-secondary diploma in a related field, such as project management, with up to two years of related experience.
- Knowledge of BC’s health care system and experience working with physicians would be considered an asset.
- Specialized knowledge in a technical or professional discipline, preferably in a health, not-for-profit, adult education, government or business sector, and an ability to apply technical/professional concepts and applications to tasks or activities.
- Adept at balancing major concurrent tasks and projects and working with internal and external parties in a coordinated manner.
- Organized, resourceful and efficient with an outstanding attention to detail, particularly in matters related to internal and external communications.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills and the ability to represent the team and department with a high level of professionalism.
- Proven ability to respond to a wide variety of issues and deal with ambiguity and conflicting demands.
- Effective writing skills and proven ability to develop clear and concise communication.
- Demonstrated proficiency with PC based software, particularly Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
