Senior Professional Services Consultant

As a Senior Professional Services Consultant, you will strategically drive the technical success of Exterro’s Professional Services implementations. As a senior technical subject matter expert (SME), you will take ownership of optimizing internal tools, streamlining processes, and ensuring seamless integrations that enhance client outcomes. You will act as the primary liaison between the Customer, Professional Services, Product, and Engineering, advocating for scalable solutions that improve efficiency and execution and drive excellent customer outcomes.
This role requires a proactive leader with deep technical expertise in migrations, system integrations, and implementation tooling who can identify and resolve complex challenges while influencing cross-functional initiatives. You will also contribute to key internal technical projects, playing a pivotal role in shaping the evolution of Exterro’s implementation framework.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Serve as a customer-facing technical SME for internal tools and processes, ensuring seamless implementations and continuous optimization.
- Lead troubleshooting, testing, and enhancement efforts for internal tooling and migration workflows.
- Drive collaboration across Product, Engineering, and Professional Services, aligning tools and processes with evolving business needs.
- Act as a key decision-maker for implementation-related technical tools and methodologies.
- Provide hands-on technical expertise for complex implementation projects, particularly in data migrations and system integrations.
- Champion process improvements to enhance team efficiency, reduce friction, and optimize client experiences.
- Mentor and guide team members, sharing technical best practices and ensuring knowledge transfer.
- Serve as an escalation point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders including Management, Client Success Managers and, Account Executives.
Skills and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in technical operations, implementation, or professional services roles.
- Deep expertise in migrations, system integrations, and technical tooling within a SaaS or enterprise environment.
- Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional collaboration to drive technical rollouts and process improvements.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence decision-making at multiple levels.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment.

As a remote first organization, our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base salary range for this remote position is $90,000-$115,000 per year, based on skills, experience and qualifications. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate. Exterro is a total compensation company, and this role may be eligible for variable pay, equity, bonus and/or other forms of compensation as part of the package.
