The Advanced Radar Products Department empowers people to deliver innovative, affordable and producible products and technologies to support airborne Radar solutions throughout the full product lifecycle while remaining accountable for program execution cost, schedule, and performance. We provide best in industry technologies that align product capabilities to the needs of our customers and end- users. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be part of a team of highly talented engineers that work on highly complex RADAR products and test sets for the Silent Knight Program. You will be working as a member of a production support team and under the guidance of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead in McKinney, Texas.
What You Will Do
- Troubleshooting hardware and process issues down to circuit card assembly (CCA)/Module and component levels to include analog/digital/RF/power circuitry and interfaces.
- Troubleshooting test sets down to component level to include analog and digital interfaces, etc. Includes software.
- Resolution of issues on production line test sets in NTX and other sites outside of NTX– travel to Forest and other sites is required. Expect about 10-20% travel.
- Work in a team environment to assure the production and sustainment turnaround time is met.
- Analysis of test data of products to make sure test specifications are met.
- Reading and interpreting and applying engineering drawings, including assembly drawings, parts lists, wire lists, and schematics.
- This position requires daily on-site support and is not open to remote work possibilities
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in a related STEM discipline such as Math, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline with minimum of 5 years related experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ experience.
