We’re looking for a Senior Product Owner to join our ever evolving Product Chapter and help us unleash the potential of every 

business. 

About the team 

Our Product and Technology teams are the Worldpayers behind the game-changing products and digital experiences we’re best known for. Striving for better, they never stand still — delivering impactful innovations that power transactions across the world. 

You will help shape and deliver Access Worldpay - our next gen suite of modern RESTful JSON APIs, developer tooling and delightful integration experience - that will be the easiest way to more world and more pay for our global corporate customers.  

What you’ll own

  

Key Responsibilities:  

  

  • Work closely with Product Management and Business Stakeholders to understand, articulate and communicate vision and value  
  • Champion our vision and working principles in your interactions with Business Units across the organisation  
  • Take responsibility and ownership of products and services from a delivery perspective  
  • Be comfortable bridging the gap between technology and the business  
  • World closely with the business to understand requirements and the business drivers behind them  
  • Conduct market analysis to ensure we simplify, innovate and add incremental value through Product Engineering  
  • Work closely and collaboratively with Agile delivery squads, defining requirements using business examples  
  • Backlog creation, ownership and refinement  
  • Definition of acceptance criteria and BDD specifications  
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, sprint demos, retrospective and daily stand-ups  
  • Set sprint goals and articulate what success looks like  
  • Make decisions and accept changes delivered during sprint  
  • Understand and define key questions / decisions and identify the research or analysis that supports resolution  
  • Participate in launch activities leading up to and following product releases, ensuring that appropriate communications are made to key stakeholders  
  • Manage stakeholders to secure agreement and alignment  
  • Develop and support individuals under your line management or mentorship
