About The Role
As a Senior Product Manager at OneVest, you will lead our Wealth Management Squad, which is responsible for core capabilities such as model management and trading. You’ll drive the development and enhancement of solutions that allow financial institutions to manage portfolios efficiently, optimize trading strategies, and deliver results for their clients. Working closely with engineering, design, portfolio management, operations, and compliance teams, you’ll ensure the delivery of high-quality features that align with OneVest’s vision. This role is crucial to enabling our clients to maintain and rebalance models, execute trades, and provide enhanced financial services.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead Wealth Squad: Own the product strategy and execution for OneVest’s wealth management offerings. Guide the Wealth Squad in delivering market-leading solutions, coordinating across engineering, design, portfolio management, operations, and compliance teams.

• Product Vision and Roadmap: Define and maintain a clear vision for the wealth management product portfolio, balancing short-term tactical needs with long-term strategic goals. Continuously update and prioritize the product roadmap to reflect evolving market demands and customer feedback.

• Cross-functional Leadership: Act as the primary liaison between the Wealth Squad and other internal teams, ensuring alignment across all aspects of the product lifecycle. Foster collaboration and remove obstacles to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.

• Deep Industry Expertise: Leverage your wealth management experience to stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor offerings. Ensure OneVest’s products are compliant, innovative, and aligned with the latest market demands.

• Customer Engagement: Engage directly with financial institutions, advisors, and end-users to gather deep insights into their needs, pain points, and goals. Translate these insights into actionable product features that enhance the OneVest platform.

• Budget and Resource Management: Lead product initiatives within the agreed-upon budget, optimizing resource allocation to maximize impact. Anticipate risks and identify strategies to mitigate them while keeping the project on track.

• Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage data and key performance metrics to guide product development, measure success, and iterate on existing solutions. Use analytics to continuously optimize the performance of wealth management features.

• Product Launch and Go-to-Market: Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations to develop go-to-market strategies for new products and features. Communicate product value internally and externally to ensure successful launches and adoption.

Must Haves:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, finance, or a related field.

• 7+ years of experience in product management, preferably within wealth management, financial services, or fintech.

• Proven track record of leading cross-functional product teams, particularly in the development of financial or wealth management products.

• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, align, and motivate diverse teams toward a common goal.

• Deep understanding of wealth management, portfolio management, and regulatory requirements.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working directly with C-level executives and clients.

• Advanced analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making and optimizing product performance.

• Expertise in agile development and experience with product management tools.

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple complex initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
