The expected salary range for this position is $120,230.00 - $150,280.00. Employees in specific high cost of labor locations in the United States (such as San Francisco, CA and Seattle, WA) may qualify for a geographic differential. This Senior Product Manager is a key role within our growing Innovation & New Products group. This group is focused on prototyping, testing, building, launching, and scaling new products and innovations to release exponentially more children from poverty. In this role you will be supporting the development, launch and scale of a global, digital fundraising product through agile and iterative methods. You will work closely with other product managers, design, engineering, operations, and partner teams to drive work streams that transform neighbor needs into delightful product features. This role will work directly with churches in proximity to poverty across the world; partnering with design to solve for cross-cultural communication, connectivity, usability, and global scaling within the product experience. Your product management background, ability to solution for end-to-end processes, experience working cross-culturally, skill facilitating collaborative working sessions, passion for seeking and understanding neighbor insights, and leadership in working directly with designers and developers will help you succeed in this role. 

  

What will you do?

In this specific role:  

  • Work directly with development and design team to represent neighbor (customer) needs, define and document product requirements, oversee feature design and work with development team to implement.  

  • Head a team of product representatives across all involved countries to ensure their understanding of product policies, launch plans, expectations and ultimately to ensure the success of the product within the churches in those countries.  

  • Co-lead the expansion of the product and facilitate launches into new countries. 

  • Lead cross-functional work streams that involve finance processes, IT solutions and programmatic changes through collaboration with members of those teams. 

  • Plan and attend ~quarterly trips to complete usability testing directly with neighbors (customers) in low- and middle-income countries.  

  • Communicate with excellence in presentations to organizational leadership, product documentation, and verbal explanations.  


As a Product Manager:  

  • Manage product management efforts for a large-scale product to deliver customer expectations and organizational objectives. This includes speaking into the development of product strategy, product definition and messaging, product KPIs, operational service metrics, shared commitments and pricing strategy. 

  • Liaise with product development senior professionals to continuously increase relevancy and value for complex products and/or product groups. Develop in-depth and dynamic customer understanding to guide rapid-cycle experimentation. 

  • Manage the development of complex product initiatives including large-scale improvements of existing products, development of new products and product suites, and marketing of changes to program. 

  • Coach and provide expertise; may oversee the work of other professionals and support staff in the Product Management discipline. 

  

What do you bring? 

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field. 

  • Ten years Relevant experience working in this or a related field. 

  • Certification from a nationally or internationally recognized organization in a related field. 

  • Experience working on digital products.  

  • Leadership or involvement on international or cross-cultural teams.

Will you travel?   

Yes, you will likely travel ~4 times per year internationally and ~1-2 times domestically.
