About the role

As an integral member of our Product team, your role is pivotal in steering the strategic direction and execution of our product portfolio alongside key business stakeholders. You'll immerse yourself in market research, data analysis, and customer insights to inform product decisions, while keeping a sharp focus on financial metrics and profitability. You are crucial in fostering collaboration and empowerment among cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and other departments. Ensuring these teams are motivated and aligned with a unified mission and vision that you advocate for is key. Together, you'll prioritize features and drive product development from ideation to launch.

Responsibilities

  • Defining and owning product strategies and roadmaps with key business stakeholders and your team that drive revenue and customer delight
  • Champion of the customer, while remaining laser focused on delivering significant business impact and hitting OKR’s.
  • Own the product's success from awareness, acquisition, activation, retention and revenue. You are constantly thinking of the big picture and working with sales, marketing, and support to ensure that the product USPs are communicated and demonstrated clearly.
  • Prioritize new products and product features - be completely accountable for what is pushed to production and ruthless when it comes to what is important
  • You’ll work cross-functionally with virtually every team – across product, engineering, design, legal, marketing, and customer-facing functions – to create an extensible product that can meet the evolving needs of our clients.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis
  • You’ll will hunt for misalignment and quickly push stakeholders back into alignment if discussions or expectations sway.
  • Lead processes that establish, recognize, gather, and monitor suitable product or business metrics, encompassing both quantitative and qualitative aspects
  • You endlessly look for blockers to unblock you and your teammates to increase velocity and focus.
  • You are dedicated and focused on product performance and iterating based on feedback
  • You coach and mentor junior product managers within the team

Requirements

  • 7+ years of product manager experience at a tech company
  • 4+ years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.
  • Previous work experience working in legal technology or at a law firm with extensive knowledge of the legal industry required
  • Law School Graduate or experience as an attorney or paralegal preferred
  • Experience with working with B2B platforms preferred
  • Excellent critical thinking, written and verbal communication skills
  • Experimental mindset that is eager to explore new ideas and progress-oriented; recognizes that shipping is the only way to truly learn if a product is successful
  • Strong leadership skills, particularly the ability to foster collaboration, empower others, and motivate teams to common goals.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics and LogRocket.
  • Familiarity and experience working with the Agile project management methodology
  • Familiarity with scrum, continuous deployment/integration, and Jira a plus.
  • Strong ability to motivate and evangelize technical minds toward customer problems

Compensation

The anticipated starting base pay range for this role is listed below. Base salary is not the only component of our competitive total rewards package - you may also be eligible for bonus, commissions, equity, and other benefits as described below. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, licenses and certifications.

$106,000 - $133,000 USD
