Role Description: The Senior Product Manager at MagicSchool will define, implement, execute, and track on product roadmap initiatives aligned to company goals and KPIs. This role is also responsible for ensuring that what gets built is both valuable and viable. The head of product is responsible for building out our processes for planning, investigating, and product discovery (user testing, analysis, data).

Responsibilities: In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Executing Planned Roadmap at a high velocity

• Building the product function

  • Hire and develop a team of high performers

  • Establish process and playbooks appropriate for our context and stage

  • Contribute to business strategy - pick the right KPI

• Increasing 4-week Product Retention by 10% via:

  • User interviews

  • Experimentation and A/B testing

  • Creative problem solving

Qualifications/Competencies/Skills:

You bring:

• Communication - tell compelling stories, be succinct for business leaders and clear for ICs, bridge stakeholders and engineering

• Decision making - able to prioritize/make decisions grounded in data, not stuck in analysis paralysis – confident, gathers and evaluates data well. Know when to say no & when to elevate product priorities

• Comfort with data - both quantitative and qualitative, ask good questions, understand customer journeys and needs

Experience:

You have:

• Track record of success/continued high performer

• Startup experience

• 2+ years PM experience

• Recent IC experience
