The Opportunity:
TrueCar is looking for a relentless, customer-focused and data-driven Sr. Product Manager to join our Product team to drive forward a rapidly growing product. Product Management at TrueCar leads the integration of engineering, data science, and design to achieve the company’s vision for reinventing mobility. We are looking for a passionate Product Manager to innovate, execute with a fast-paced team, and help build out our Marketing and Advertising Technologies.
How you will contribute to TrueCar’s success:
- Lead the development and scaling of MarTech/AdTech platforms that enable our Marketing Team members to autonomously set up and serve ads using data from the Customer Data Platform (CDP), without reliance on technical resources.
- Drive the personalization of content across consumer touchpoints, working with marketing teams to enhance customer engagement.
- Collaborate closely with data science teams to leverage data insights for optimizing advertising campaigns and content personalization strategies.
- Define and execute the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and consumer needs.
- Ensure platform scalability and flexibility to support ongoing marketing automation and personalization initiatives.
- Foster strong partnerships with marketing, data science, and engineering teams to deliver seamless integration across systems and tools.
Your Expertise:
- 5+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on martech/adtech platforms and marketing automation tools.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams to build data-driven marketing platforms.
- Strong understanding of Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), data management, and their application in advertising and personalization.
- Hands-on experience with marketing technology (martech) or advertising technology (adtech) ecosystems, including campaign management, targeting, and personalization.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical requirements into user-friendly solutions for non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong project management and leadership abilities to drive the product development lifecycle from concept to launch.
- Prior experience in a customer-facing role, particularly with marketing, eCommerce, or media platforms.
Base salary range: $141,000 - $180,000
