The Product: Direct

Direct provides our hosts with their own personal booking channel. With Direct, we allow short-term rental hosts to launch their direct bookings in minutes, with a beautiful website that is already populated with their listing information and photos. Unique to the industry, Hospitable offers a premium direct booking option that facilitates payments, guest screening, tax filing and remittance, and insurance for a safe and rewarding experience.

Direct currently processes about $3M in monthly bookings and we believe we can triple that over the next year. Together with our team of five software engineers and five Direct support specialists, you will be evolving the Direct product and establishing Direct as a market-leading offering for short-term rental direct bookings. Responsibilities

• Drive outcomes and own the results on a multi-million dollar business line
• Develop and implement Direct’s vision, strategy, and roadmap, breaking that down into rapidly shippable projects, consistent with the company vision.
• Collect and analyze feedback from customers, stakeholders, and other teams to shape requirements, features, and end products.
• Work with senior management to create product plans and roadmaps, based on your interaction with customers and aggregate customer feedback.
• Partner with sales, customer success, and engineering to ship features and products that solve the right problems.
• Ensure products and releases are launched correctly and on schedule.
• Prioritize, set the pace of execution, and balance engineering cost with impact on business. Grow the business by driving more bookings and onboarding more hosts to Direct.
• Suggest ways to track product use and impact on end users.
• Make creative recommendations to expand product base and vision. Actively seek out opportunities to innovate.
