Senior Product Designer
United States - Remote
As a Senior Product Designer at Brivo, you'll be a key driver in transforming complex security challenges into intuitive, user-centric experiences. You'll lead design strategy, own significant product areas, and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions that directly influence the security of thousands of businesses. Responsibilities
- Lead and Innovate: Drive the design vision for key product initiatives, translating business requirements into elegant and effective user experiences.
- Strategic Collaboration: Partner with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define product strategy and ensure design alignment across the platform.
- Elevate User Experience: Refine and expand our design system, ensuring clarity, consistency, and scalability while advocating for user-centered design principles.
- Research & Validation: Conduct user research, synthesize insights, and create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to validate and refine solutions.
- Guide & Inspire: Mentor junior designers, fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and design excellence.
- Impactful Workshops: Facilitate engaging cross-functional workshops to align product vision and drive decision-making.
- Measure & Iterate: Define and track key UX metrics to continuously improve user experiences and demonstrate the impact of design.
- Manage & Prioritize: Effectively manage multiple projects, scopes, and timelines in a fast-paced environment.
- 5+ years of experience designing and shipping enterprise applications in B2B or SaaS environments.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Full-stack design mindset including research, UX/UI, interaction design, copywriting, user testing, and measuring success.
- Proven ability to lead design initiatives and influence product strategy.
- Exceptional portfolio showcasing expertise in visual design, interaction design, and problem-solving.
- Mastery of Figma, Sketch, or similar design tools; and experience scaling design systems.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design methodologies and accessibility best practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions effectively.
- Bonus Points: Motion design skills; Agency experience and/or; Experience in the security or access control industries.
This is a full-time US-based position, with a preference for eastern or central time zones. A Washington DC Metro-based hire can expect weekly in-office collaboration, while a remote hire will need the ability to travel to Bethesda, MD quarterly. The total compensation package ranges from $130,000 to $150,000. Individual compensation packages are based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, training, and market conditions.
