Why it matters: Our Senior Product Designer will play an integral role in driving the vision for Axios HQ as an AI-powered essential communications and planning tool.

Go deeper: In this role, you will make an impact to Axios HQ through the following responsibilities:

  • Articulate design decisions
  • Create new concepts to lead feature discovery
  • Create end-to-end designs
  • Collaborate with customers to gain insights 
  • Frame problems to solve to pitch to executives
  • Help build and maintain a Figma Design System 
  • Collaborate with fellow PMs and Designers 
  • Craft visions of what our product could be

The details: Ideal candidates will embody an entrepreneurial spirit and passion for Axios HQ’s mission and values - raise the bar, stay curious, be inclusive, always, and champion each other - and have the following skills/experience:

  • 7+ years of experience
  • Expertise in Figma and building robust Figma libraries
  • Expert UX/UI Design Skills with the ability to prototype concepts
  • Deep understanding of Business & Product Strategy
  • Ability to distill complex ideas into simple statements
  • Strong group facilitation and articulation skills
  • Strong understanding of User Research and User testing methods
  • Experience building growth-oriented experiences within products
  • Experience being a leader in your squad
  • Working understanding of Generative AI is a plus
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS/JS is a plus

Don’t forget: 

  • Axios HQ believes in fair and equitable pay. Base salary for this role is in the range of $135,000-$155,000 and is dependent on numerous factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, and skills.
