Senior Process Engineer - Ozone

Detailed Description:
- Work hand-in-hand with clients and project delivery teams nationwide, to develop unique solutions that protect public health.
- Manage and execute ozone-related water treatment projects, including process selection and preliminary design.
- Evaluate existing ozone systems to develop and implement optimization and upgrade alternatives.
- Develop into a technical leader on ozone-based water treatment projects.
- Assist in developing and preparing process design drawings, specifications, calculations, plans, and other technical deliverables for a variety of drinking water projects.
- Assist with ozone system commissioning and start-up, including training plant staff.
- Collaborate with BC research and development on applicable technologies and projects.
- Read, summarize, and prepare technical reports regarding ozone treatment.
- Prepare and make presentations to clients and for professional meetings.
- Assist with and serve as a technical lead for business development pursuits.
- Participate in professional organizations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- B.S. degree in related engineering field (Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical etc.) required.
- Minimum of 5 years (advanced degrees count as 2 years) of progressively increasing responsibility in the drinking water industry including familiarity with the following: ozone treatment, facility master planning, data analysis, and water treatment plant / advanced treatment planning or design.
- Experience with full-scale or pilot plants with ozone and biofiltration.
- Robust task organization, execution, and leadership skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to conduct effective presentations and prepare clear and concise written reports.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PE License preferred.
Salary:
Location A: $103,000- $141,000
Location B: $114,000- $155,000
Location C: $124,000- $169,000
