About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Practice Operations Analyst to join our team. As a Senior Practice Operations Analyst, you will play a vital role in supporting various operational technologies and programs within our Legal & Compliance organization including but not limited to knowledge, document, and contract management. As a Senior Practice Operations Analyst, you will work side-by-side with our Practice Operations team members to help support processes and practices that improve the day-to-day efficiency and effectiveness of Legal & Compliance. In this generalist role, you may support projects and initiatives across the full range of subject matters supported by the Practice Operations team. You must be adaptable and proactive in identifying areas of need and generating action plans. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Design a knowledge management collaboration strategy with partner teams and key stakeholders.

  • Implements common guardrails for knowledge management content governance and recommends new features and user experience enhancements.

  • Maintain a unified department strategy that marries traditional best practices and new technologies (including artificial intelligence) to create consistency, enable better ongoing data hygiene and curation, and make it easier to find and leverage knowledge resources.

  • Creating and maintaining a repository of outside counsel advice, legal precedents, research materials, and case law to support legal decision-making and strategy development.

  • Provide experienced guidance and support for inquiries related to knowledge, document, and contract management and related inquiries.

  • Collaborate with colleagues in the legal & compliance organization to develop and implement knowledge, document, and contract management workflows.

  • Organize and maintain knowledge repositories, ensuring information is up-to-date and easily accessible.

  • Identifies processes and practices to improve the day-to-day efficiency and effectiveness of the Legal & Compliance team.

  • Provide training and support to colleagues on legal & compliance knowledge management and contract operations tools and best practices.

  • Owns well defined initiatives of increased complexity.

  • Challenges traditional approaches and uses creativity to generate new ideas.

  • Support projects and initiatives across the full range of subject matters supported by the Practice Operations team.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.

In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $87,000.00 - $139,000.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC and may not be applicable to other locations.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

Skills and Qualifications:
 

  • At Least 5 years of experience in a similar role or in a legal operations environment is preferred.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Communicates effectively with organization members, cross functional partners, and external parties around increasingly complex issues.

  • Plans and executes work assignments by setting and managing goals independently. 

  • Demonstrates strong prioritization, organization and time management skills.

  • Takes initiative and can manage additional workload to complete unanticipated or ad hoc tasks as necessary.

  • Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for legal & compliance knowledge, document, and contract management.

  • Able to act as administrator of deployed technology/systems.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related discipline.
