Position Summary

We seek a Senior Platform Engineer specializing in Kubernetes to join our innovative technology team. This role focuses on developing, implementing, and optimizing Kubernetes-based solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong software engineering background, extensive Kubernetes experience, and a commitment to creating high-quality, scalable, and resilient cloud-native applications. The base salary range for this full-time position is $169,700 - $207,5000 + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. 

What You'll Do

  • Design and develop robust Kubernetes-based applications and infrastructure.
  • Implement automation tools and frameworks (CI/CD pipelines) for the rapid deployment and scalability of Kubernetes clusters.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of Kubernetes into the overall software development lifecycle.
  • Optimize Kubernetes clusters for performance, scalability, and high availability.
  • Contribute to the design and improvement of microservices architecture.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members on Kubernetes best practices.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in Kubernetes and cloud computing.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4+ years of software development experience, focusing on Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies.
  • Proficiency in Kubernetes cluster management and orchestration.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Go, Python, or Java.
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker.
  • Knowledge of cloud service providers, preferably AWS.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a passion for technical challenges.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
